TRENCHLESS
Directional Bore
Horizontal Directional Drilling(HDD) commonly referred to as directional bore is a trenchless installation method that uses hydraulic pressure to pierce the ground and push steerable rods to a location where the pipe or conduit is tied on and pulled back to the start, lubrication using “drilling mud” is typically required and involves provision of additional cleanup on most sites. Another consideration is drill shots usually use jointless polyethylene…….
We are very familiar with the needs of HDD and how to plan, layout and support the drill shots including the additional requirements for locating of the existing buried utilities and staging of pipe and reels.

Lubrication using “drilling mud” is typically required and involves additional cleanup on most sites. Another consideration is drill shots usually use jointless polyethylene pipe that must be laid out prior to being pulled back or spun off large reels.

Plowing
We offer plowing, another trenchless method that pulls conduit into the ground behind a stearable blade that cuts into the ground. This can be a very cost effective solution to installing small diameter conduit (≥2″) at shallow depths for long straight runs.
